According to PWinsider, Trevor Lee gave notice to Impact Wrestling and is departing the company. They also noted that WWE is interested to sign Lee for the NXT.
Wrestling Observer's Meltzer has also confirmed their report and noted that Lee's contract with Impact is set to end on December 31, 2018.
Lee is a former three-time X Division Champion and one-time Tag Team Champion for Impact.
Trevor Lee responded to the report via Twitter: "I'm still 'Impact wrestling Star' Trevor Lee."
Lee was in action at this week's Impact television tapings at Sam's Town in Las Vegas.
