This led Angle to announce his retirement on the February 4 episode of Raw, however, before he could do so, he was interrupted by Corbin and Drew McIntyre. According to Rajah.com, the Olympic Gold Medalist & WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle is expected to retire as an active WWE wrestler soon.
The site also noted that the plan has been to extend Kurt with another contract where he would be transitioned into a backstage "agent" type role.
