According to the Dirty Sheets, WWE officials have begun their build-up for the planned Ronda Rousey vs. Charlotte Flair match for the RAW Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 35.
The storyline is that Charlotte has lost confidence in herself after her loss to Becky Lynch. This is then set to culminate with Charlotte winning the Women’s Royal Rumble 2019 match and then go on to defeat Rousey for the RAW Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 35.
This is the same storyline that WWE used for the second WrestleMania match between John Cena & The Rock, where Cena lost a lot in 2012, went on to win the 2013 Royal Rumble match and then defeated The Rock in the main event of WrestleMania 29 for the WWE Championship.
It should also be noted that Rousey vs. Flair is going to main event WrestleMania 35 if WWE aren’t able to secure The Rock for WrestleMania 35.
