According to Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer, the real reason behind Heart Break Kid coming out of retirement is to do a favor on Triple H, as Michaels will have a big role in WWE backstage once Triple H takes over the company from Vince McMahon.
The current plan is for Michaels to compete in multiple matches which also includes a match at WrestleMania 35.
Before this, Dirty Sheets reported that HBK is being paid $3 million for his tag team match at WWE Crown Jewel.
